As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I were apprehensive about stepping into what seemed to be an intimidating market and industry. We had very little knowledge about and had next to no experience with anything that had to do with purchasing a home. But all our reservations flew out the window when Dave Alfano and his team were at work. We never once felt pressured into anything and never once felt like we were losing control of the process. Dave allowed us to work at our own pace and offered his very valuable expertise when he knew we needed it. Contrary to the horror stories we'd heard about buying a house, the stress level was at a minimum (if even there at all!), and Dave made it so easy and carefree that we actually had fun every time we looked at a property! He's fully geared towards satisfying the customer and not just "making the sale". Dave and his team were also very easily accessible, either answering the phone on the first try or promptly returning missed calls. I could write many, many pages singing Alfano Realty's praises – there is nothing negative I can say.

I can't stress enough what an absolutely positive experience we had buying our first home. It was completely seamless and I honestly don't know how it's possible to get better than Alfano Realty. I would recommend that anyone buying a first home (or second, or third!) use this stellar company!

About 1-1/2 years ago my husband and I decided to start looking for a ranch style home after spending the past 25 years in the two-family home we own. We happened upon a home of interest in Southington and took down the real estate agents name & number; this is how we initially met Dave Alfano. When we met Dave at the house we were both impressed with his mannerisms and down to earth business ethics. Dave is not “the typical salesman” that is in for the quick sale. Dave told us to look around the house at our leisure and he was there for any questions we might have, he DID NOT follow us around trying to sell us on this being the house meant for us.

Unfortunately we did not buy this home, and though we did not originally intend to work with a real estate agent, Dave was too good of a find to not work with. Dave stuck with us over the next year and a half, which was not always easy, and we did find a home and closed on it earlier this year. If it hadn’t have been for Dave we might not own that home now, but his patience and genuine caring for his clients got us through. Dave Alfano is more that an agent, he is a friend that is by your side every step of the way, through all the ups and downs; until he is sure you are happy. He can almost always be reached and if not he is very prompt in returning any messages or getting answers to questions you may have. AND Dave doesn’t disappear after your deal is complete; he genuinely cares and follows up on your progress and is STILL there if you need him.

We mention Dave’s name every time we hear someone is looking to buy or sell real estate. In our eyes there is nowhere but Alfano Reality for any real estate dealings.

In the past thirty years, I have purchased nine and sold eight homes. I have worked with many realtors in the past, some good and some not so good. Working with Mr. David Alfano was a wonderful experience. He worked diligently to sell our home and sold the house in less then a week for the full asking price. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted in our next home and Mr. Alfano kept in daily contact with new listings that fit our criteria. After only a few weeks, and looking at many homes, we decided on our present home. It was the first one Mr. Alfano showed us. His patience with showing us many other homes was greatly appreciated. When someone is making such a large purchase, it is nice to know that there is someone out there looking out for your best interest and not just what the financial gain will be accomplished on the transaction. He went beyond and helped us find a mortgage company that was willing to work with a self-employed person. He stood by us all the way through the transaction. I have never had a realtor go out of there way to help us as he did.
